How We Deliver

Unlike other transcription companies which rely purely on human based transcription, we enable our human transcribers to be more effective through the use of our proprietary web-based transcription workflow management system.

Accuracy. Our transcriptionists must go through our online scoring system, which tests their transcription ability, provides feedback, and helps them improve their transcription quality until it is at the highest quality as measured over the course of a variety of jobs. Our system allows our transcriptionists to focus on what they do best: Transcriptionists test for and receive qualification ratings to demonstrate their ability for verbatim and non-verbatim transcriptions; sector-specific knowledge such as financial services, speed, and, of course, accuracy levels.

Speed. One of the biggest challenges for transcription firms, large or small, is that the workload is often unpredictable. This means transcription companies are either over-staffed, requiring them to charge more, or under-staffed, also requiring them to charge more to deliver transcriptions in a timely manner.

Our Approach

We take a fundamentally different approach to ensure fast turnaround time while keeping the highest quality levels. Our system provides mechanisms for:

  • Scheduled transcriptions, when we know that specific audio will be available at a specific time, qualified transcriptionists can sign up to do particular jobs. We can also assign the same transcriptionist to work on repeat jobs from a particular customer, ensuring familiarity with a specific transcription type. This allows us to provide the kind of personalized service our customers desire.
  • Audio splitting. Our proprietary technology allows us to split lengthy recordings into two or more pieces so that two or more parts of a long audio recording can be transcribed at the same time. We then use a combination of automated and human review techniques to ensure consistency across segments.
  • Dynamic job scheduling. Leveraging our qualified transcriber pool approach, we are able to match highly qualified transcribers with the transcription jobs they are most qualified for.
  • Continuous review loop. Our integrated review system allows us to score transcriptions based on quality and speed and provide feedback to transcriptionists in near real-time.
  • Custom formatting. Our workflow management systems supports a variety of standard, advanced, and custom output templates so that our customers receive their transcriptions in the format they need.

Our system allows audio to be delivered through a variety of mechanisms, including email, browser, FTP, SOAP, and direct call recording.

Delivery to the Customer

Because our system is fully online and web-based, we are able to deliver transcriptions, audio recordings, and audio and transcription archiving to the customer online. We provide web-based access to audio and transcription to our customers. In addition, we can provide delivery via email or hard-copy as well. Our integrated audio archiving service allows us to store both transcriptions and audio for later access by the customer for as long as the customer desires.
